Bridge Communication Speech-Language Pathologists was founded in 2012 by Tamara Backer, MS, CCC-SLP. Tamara is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and brings over 25 years of clinical experience to her work. Drawing from both medical and educational settings, Tamara offers a deeply integrative approach to communication development. Her work is rooted in the belief that meaningful progress happens when we bridge voice, mind, and soul—supporting not only how individuals communicate, but how they connect, express, and engage in daily life. Tamara works collaboratively with each client to create individualized, functional, and achievable treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyle. Her approach is thoughtful and client-centered, focusing on real-world application, confidence building, and lasting carryover.
